During my stay at Mas Cottages on the picturesque Samosir Island, I was treated to a cozy room with a stunning view of Lake Toba right from my bed. The Family Room upgrade was a pleasant surprise, showcasing the hotel's commitment to making guests feel special. The cleanliness and upkeep of the rooms were commendable, adding to the overall comfort of the stay. The friendly staff, with the exception of one individual, provided excellent service and even helped arrange transportation to Ketambe. While the restaurant offered decent vegetarian options, I would recommend opting out of the breakfast package for more flexibility. Laundry services would have been a nice addition for added convenience. Mas Cottages offers a good value proposition with its prime location, spacious rooms, and proximity to the serene lake - perfect for a budget-friendly yet comfortable stay.
